What to expect?
NoMI Tours will pick you up at an agreed upon location and your friendly driver will take you on the private tour of your choice. We will typically visit 1 location per hour. You will be dropped back off at the pickup location. NoMI Tours will offer water but it is suggested to bring your own cooler and/or snacks. Please note that all tours are subject to change at any time due to location availability/hours.
Where does the bus pick up?
We will pick you up at an agreed upon location within the Traverse City area for no charge. If agreed upon, we may pick you up from another location for an extra fee.
What to bring?
Please bring your driver’s license. They will ask for it, even if you look over 30! Bring money for tasting fees (typically $5-$10 for a tasting flight) & cash for driver gratuity – the industry standard is 20% which is greatly appreciated! Also consider bringing any snacks and beverages you may want along with a small cooler.
How much does a tour cost?
Please refer to our booking calendar to see daily rates. The cost includes pickup, transportation, and drop off of our 14 passenger bus. Tasting fees at each destination are not included.
Is the tip included in the price?
The driver tip is not included in the standard transportation cost. The industry standard is 20%, which is greatly appreciated!
*Services costing over $999 will have an automatic 20% gratuity added to the invoice.
When must I pay in full?
Full payment is required upon receipt of invoice. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, & ACH transfer.
After confirming the booking details, NoMI Tours will send an invoice. Full payment is due upon receipt. Once payment is received, your tour will be approved.
When should I book my event?
You should book your tour as early as you can to ensure you get the date you would like.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel for any reason, you must provide a minimum of 30 days notice prior to the date of your reservation to receive a full refund. If you provide less than 30 days notice, there is a $100 cancellation fee, with the remainder refunded. There is a zero refund policy on full payment amount if cancelled within 48 hours from the tour date.
If NoMI tours cancels your tour due to weather or COVID-19, you will receive a full refund.
If a client cancels due to weather or COVID-19, we will work together to change your tour to a future date.
Can we drink on the bus?
Yes, you can drink alcoholic beverages on the bus. No hard liquor can be consumed on the bus and we ask that you please drink responsibly. No open containers can enter or exit the bus during the trip. The NoMI Tours driver has the right to inspect ID’s and containers of passengers who appear underage. The driver also reserves the right to eject any individual(s) who they deem to be disruptive or intoxicated. Also note that the establishments we visit hold the right to refuse service, should anyone appear over-served.
How long are the tours?
All standard tours are 4 – 4 1/2 hours. If you would like, additional time can be added at a rate of $100/hour and must be scheduled in advance.

Do I need to fill the bus?
No. You are paying for the bus, whether it is 2 people or up to 14 people.
Which locations will we visit?
After booking your tour, a member of our team will reach out in order to finalize the locations you would like to visit.
Can we add other cideries, wineries, breweries or distilleries to our tours?
Yes, we offer a Mix & Match Tour that you can customize to go wherever you would like to go. Our Mix & Match Tour must be approved by NoMI Tours.
Will there be opportunities for photos?
Yes, your driver will be happy to assist you with capturing that incredible view or group photo.
Is there a cleaning fee?
If you damage the interior or exterior of the vehicle (food or beverage spills, vomiting, etc.) a cleaning fee of $150.00 will be collected at the end of your tour.
Can we smoke on the bus?
No smoking is allowed on the bus.
COVID-19 Expectations?
By booking with us, you agree to follow our COVID-19 regulations. All interior bus surfaces will be sanitized between each use. Each destination may have their own COVID-19 requirements which must be followed.
